Avoiding common waste bin rental in Brampton mistakes can make everything from a home renovation to a large construction project much simpler. We like to provide bins for renovation and building materials as well as demolition and construction debris.

Still, getting the most from one of these bins means that you need to do a little planning before it arrives on your property or job site. Remember, choosing the wrong size bin or putting materials that don’t go inside, or even just having it dropped off in the wrong area, can cause problems.

Avoiding Waste Bin Rental in Brampton Errors

Avoiding some of these mistakes can help any of your projects move along smoothly.

  • Overfilling one of the containers that we supply is a common problem. As a general rule, you can only fill up one of these bins to the level of the top rim. We need to put a tarp over the top so that everything can be transported safely.
  • Ordering the wrong size unit is another common misstep. Choose a bin that’s too small and you can wind up running out of space before your project is done. On the other side of that coin, ordering a bin that’s too big can be wasteful because you wind up paying for room that you’re not going to use.
  • Unfortunately, another big mistake that’s made all too often is throwing hazardous materials into the bin. Things like oil, gasoline, batteries, paint and pesticides, as well as propane tanks and cylinders, aren’t permitted.
  • It’s always a good idea to check out your available space before you order one of our bins. Most of the ones that we have in our inventory can fit in a standard single-car driveway. However, our 40-yarders are a little bit larger.

If you need to put one out in the road, you should get in touch to arrange a special municipal permit.

Before you even give us a call, it’s a good idea to think about the amount of waste you’re going to be producing. It’s also important to consider whether there’s enough room for delivering the bin as well as loading it and picking it up.
